Transportation Department
Provide pupil transportation service that is safe, efficient & economical so that each student may take full advantage of the curricular, extra-curricular activities that SUSD offers our students. Whether our students are riding to and from school each day or they are attending an extra-curricular activity Safety is our top priority as we carry out the duties & responsibilities of our district policy.
The Transportation Department staff are dedicated professionals certified by DPS, all bus drivers are first aid & CPR certified, drivers participate in pre-employment & random drug/alcohol testing and physical exams. Bus drivers receive specialized training in Student Behavior Management, loading & unloading, as well as frequent driving record checks.
