Our Assistive Technology team helps students use tools and devices to enhance their learning and communication.

• What we do:

  • Conduct AT and communication evaluations.

  • Train students and staff on how to use devices.

  • Help schools acquire and maintain equipment.

  • Support students in areas like communication, computer access, and writing.

Occupational Therapists help students develop the physical and sensory skills they need to fully participate in the school day.

• What we do:

  • Support skills for hand function and writing.

  • Address sensory and motor needs.

  • Help students access classrooms and school materials.

  • Collaborate with teachers to create a barrier-free learning environment.

Physical Therapists focus on a student’s mobility and positioning to ensure they can safely navigate and access the school environment.

• What we do:

  • Address needs related to movement, strength, and coordination.

  • Help with positioning and seating in the classroom.

  • Work on skills for navigating school spaces (e.g., halls, playground).

  • Ensure students can physically access their education.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) assess and treat communication disorders to help students succeed academically and socially.

• What we do:

  • Evaluate and treat challenges with articulation, language, voice, and fluency.

  • Provide individual, group, or classroom-based therapy.

  • Partner with teachers to support language and literacy.

  • Work with the school team to ensure students can fully participate through communication.
