Title IX

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

- Title IX Of The Education Amendments Of 1972

What is Title IX?

Title IX is a federal law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in all education programs and activities receiving federal funding. This includes protection against sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, and discrimination based on pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Our school district is committed to providing a learning environment where every student, staff member, and community member feels safe, respected, and supported.

Our Commitment to You

  • Proactive Prevention: We actively monitor programs and activities to identify and address barriers to reporting sex-based discrimination.
  • Prompt Response: When we become aware of concerns, we take immediate, fair, and impartial action to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Inclusive Practices: All students and staff have equal access to academic, extracurricular, and athletic opportunities, regardless of sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
