  • Student On-Site/Hybrid Learning

    March 12, 2021

    Dear Students, Parents/Guardians:

As a reminder Valley High School will be on Spring Break March 15 – 19, 2021. We will start our on-site instruction on March 22, 2021. VHS will be utilizing the “Hybrid Model” of instruction.

That means the student has a choice of attending class on campus or continuing with the virtual learning we are doing now. If you decide to come on campus, you will be in your PA class all day using your chrome book to access your classes. Breakfast and a hot lunch will be served in the classroom. We will have bus service for half of the students on Monday and Thursday and the other half on Tuesday and Friday.

A student survey has been sent to SUSD student email to see how many students might be on campus so that the cafeteria can prepare meals accordingly.

Please return the survey promptly so we can continue to plan and prepare for students who wish to come back to the building. Please refer to the attached schedule for the days that you might be on campus. There is Region I which is basically the New Lands, Sanders and Wide Ruins areas. These students will be on campus Monday and Thursday. Region II is mainly the communities east of Sanders; Houck, Lupton, Allentown, etc.. These students will be on campus Tuesday and Friday.

ALL students will continue to access their classes Monday through Friday, even if you are at home. (virtual) If you have questions, please call us at 928.688.4200

    As always……Go PIRATES!!

    Sincerely,

    Charles Gover, Principal
